Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to join our team. The role primarily involves reactive maintenance, focusing on troubleshooting and rewiring 480V systems, as well as working with supply cabinets ranging from 24V D.C. up to 480V. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing VFD and drive controls, including using ethernet for PLC troubleshooting. The position requires mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, with a focus on hydraulics and pneumatics. You'll work with equipment such as plastic extrusion machines, palletizers, wrappers, grinders, and rolling conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial 480V troubleshooting and rewiring.
• Conduct industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Manage low voltage systems ranging from 24V to 480V.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using ethernet.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair, focusing on hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Work with equipment including plastic extrusion machines, palletizers, wrappers, grinders, and rolling conveyors.

The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, providing job security and opportunities for professional growth. The role is on a 3rd shift schedule from 7PM to 7AM, following a rotating 2-2-3 pattern.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00 / hr.
