Job Description

• The Controls Engineer will be developing and modifying electrical systems for the manufacturing of automated tablet presses.
• This will include programming of  PLC, HMI, and other controls.
• This position will be heavily modifying code from a catalog with some one-off custom programming.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE :

1+ year of experience as a Controls Engineer in an OEM or manufacturing environment

1+ year of programming Allen Bradley PLC's

1+ year of programming or troubleshooting HMI's

Experience with Servos or other motion controllers

Experience with three phase motor controls

Experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics

AS or trade school certificate in electrical engineering or technology

NICE TO HAVE :

Experience with HMI development using Wonderware Indusoft Web Studio

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical

Experience with SQL database development
