Position Summary
Obtains, calculates and compiles data for use in conceptual / bid proposal estimates, preparing routine estimates under general supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that all quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete
- Provide support for the development of bidding strategies by debriefing the salesperson of job elements
- Leads the documentation management of the project, ensures all documents are complete and clearly conveys decisions made to sales and operations teams.
- Attend pre-bid meetings to discuss project specifics and scope
- Participate in bid closings and estimate reviews
- Balance workload and assignments to meet deadlines
- Develop a value analysis study by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficient
- Manage action items from Post Bid and finalize ISEC scope.
- Compute cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and labor.

Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related fieldMinimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Architectural Woodwork EstimatingMeets all Minimum Qualifications of Estimator I and II, in addition to the following :Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
