We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Technician II to join our Returned Product Analysis Intake Lab team. In this role, youll be responsible for receiving, cleaning, and documenting receipt of returned, explanted medical devices. Your work will directly support our commitment to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous product improvement. Duties :
Receive, inspect, and document returned implantable medical devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and leadsPerform cleaning and decontamination of products in a biosafety level II (BSL-2) laboratory environment, following strict safety and quality proceduresRecord device details and case information accurately in electronic systemsIdentify and communicate potential product complaints to internal quality and complaint-handling teamsPackage and prepare devices for shipment to manufacturing and analysis partnersMaintain lab equipment, cleanliness, and organization to uphold safety and compliance standardsPartner with Analysis teams to ensure consistent, high-quality documentationRequirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required & 2+ years of relevant work experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentationComfortable working in a BSL-2 lab environment with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard computer applicationsSelf-motivated and dependable, with strong communication and teamwork skillsPrevious experience in a laboratory, medical device, or regulated environment preferredWillingness to comply with Hepatitis A / B and Tetanus vaccination requirementsWillingness to work in PPE gowning for the majority of their workdayComfortable with repetitive, process-based tasks and able to maintain a steady workflowDemonstrated ability to escalate concerns or uncertainties effectively and in a timely mannerEfficiency-minded someone who enjoys checking things off, streamlining routines, and staying productiveFamiliarity with Microsoft Outlook or other email / calendar tools for communicationProficiency with basic spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) for data entry and trackingStrong written and verbal communication skills clear, concise, and structured communication is essentialNice to Have
