Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Cardiac Sonographer Non-Invasive | Temple, TX

Sunbelt is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week contract in Temple, TX. This role focuses on non-invasive cardiology imaging for adult patients at a Level 1 Trauma center.

Schedule & Shifts :

Sunday : 6 : 00 AM 2 : 00 PM

MondayThursday : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

AM shifts; 40 hours / week

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Requirements :

Active ARDMS or RCS certification

BLS certification

Minimum 2 years cardiac sonography experience

Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting

Solid knowledge of transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography

Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles

Responsibilities :

Perform basic to advanced echocardiograms (TTE, TEE, stress studies) and take required measurements

Prepare patients for procedures, obtain clinical history, and explain exams

Assist physicians in procedure and operating rooms as needed

Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography lab equipment

Adhere to infection control, privacy, and IAC accreditation standards

Collaborate with staff, physicians, and students to optimize patient care
