We’re currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for onboarding, employee communications, HRIS, apprenticeships, and HR-related inquiries. You’ll play a key role in supporting up to 30 new hires per week and ensuring a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage pre-boarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain accurate employee records and process status changes
- Reconcile and validate HRIS data to ensure integrity
- Administer performance reviews and assessments
- Serve as the main contact for employee communications and HR inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Promote a positive employee experience through communication and problem-solving
- Propose and help administer personnel policies
- Escalate employee issues while maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience as an HR Specialist or CoordinatorBilingual in Spanish and English preferredExperience in the construction industry or similar field preferredPrior experience with E-Verify and resolving alertsFamiliarity with UKG or other HR softwareStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platformsKnowledge of state and federal employment lawsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & Benefits
