Relationship Manager (VP) - Technology, Media and Communications

Job Summary : This position is within the Technology, Media and Communications Specialized Industry Corporate Banking coverage vertical. The Relationship Manager (VP level) will assist senior coverage bankers in the delivery and execution of the full spectrum of capital markets, advisory and corporate banking products / services to clients and prospects in one of our dedicated industry coverage groups. The primary role will be that of managing the execution of client marketing efforts, deal engagements and group projects, including analysis and reporting. The position will require effective partnership with teams across the Flagstar platform, including product specialists, portfolio managers (credit, underwriting and ongoing client management) and operational support specialists. Pay Range : $140,622 - $186,324 - $232,026
Job Responsibilities :
- Providing high-level leadership and execution support to senior bankers by generating ideas, overseeing various financial analyses, developing financial models and executing recommendations for clients and prospective clients
- Thinking proactively and creatively to understand client needs and identifying Flagstar products and services, or other unique, actionable ideas that can help clients achieve their goals
- Providing leadership and accountability for select client relationships and prospecting opportunities
- Performing comprehensive company and industry research, peer benchmarking and refining industry-specific expertise
- Leading the preparation of and driving the content of marketing materials, including client and prospect pitches and proposals
- Leading in the recruitment, training, development and oversight of analysts and associates while building a team-oriented group culture of excellence
- Managing several projects simultaneously with the ability to work effectively as supervisor, individually and as part of a team
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job and complete required compliance training
- Vice Presidents typically work 3 5 years before having the opportunity to advance to primary relationship coverage responsibilities
Job Requirements :
High School diploma / GED / Foreign EquivalentBachelor's Degree Preferred or Equivalent Experience4+ years of work experience with corporate banking or comparable experience within the industry verticalStrong knowledge of capital markets, M&A or syndicated / leveraged finance with prior corporate lending and credit training experience preferredEvident interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build professional relationshipsEnergetic self-starter with a solid work ethic and willingness to take on and successfully manage significant and multiple responsibilitiesSense of personal accountability with results orientation as part of a collaborative team environmentAdvanced financial modeling and analysis skillsAdvanced user of Excel, Word and PowerPointOccasional travel expectedPhysical demands (ADA) requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina, such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent liftingFlagstar is an Equal Opportunity Employer
