Your Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering student to join our team as an Automation Engineer Co-op from January - August 2026

What You'll Be Doing

  • Contribute to automation project initiatives, including research, design and development of proprietary Greenheck Solutions.
  • Participate in the testing, troubleshooting and validation of automation equipment and solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project plans with guidance from both principal engineers and project managers.
  • Assist in evaluating and vetting potential automation vendors, integrators and equipment manufacturers.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and technical reports for automation initiatives.
  • Contribute to scope definition and planning of large-scale automation projects.

What You Should Have

  • Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program (Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology).
  • On track to graduate in the next 2 years or less.
  • GPA 3.25 or higher.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Machine Shop Experience preferred.

    Compensation And Benefits

    Greenheck Group provides competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $23 / hour - $27 / hour and may vary based on position type and school seniority.
