Position Title\n\nClinical Nurse (RN) Telemetry - Weekend Premium Pay\n\nBell Hospital\n\nPosition Summary / Career Interest : \nEarn more just by working weekends!\n\nUnits : BH 41 and BH 42\nShifts : Days and Nights Available\n\nWe currently have an opening for Clinical Nurse II for both full time and part time weekend shifts in our acute care units. We have opportunities available for both Days and Night shifts.\n\nThe premium pay program incentivizes employees to work weekends and ensure we are able to provide the highest quality care for our patients. The premium pay program is an additional hourly incentive for those who sign up for a 12 month weekend contract.\n\nResponsibilities\n

  • Provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients\n
  • Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population\n
  • Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care\n
  • Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care\n\nRequirements : \n
  • BSN preferred, minimum requirement is ADN with 2 years or more of experience and must complete BSN within 5 years of hire\n
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or eligible required\n
  • BLS Certification required\n

The hospital offers very competitive wages and an outstanding benefit package.\n\nThis fast paced 20 bed medical telemetry unit provides advanced and specialized care to patients with a variety of medical conditions including renal failure, liver failure, respiratory complications, infections and many other diagnoses that may require continuous cardiac monitoring. Our nurses have the opportunity to work with a variety of physician services in the hospital, and through this, develop the expertise to care for our diverse population.\n\nThe Clinical Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population. Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care. Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care. Performs other duties as assigned.\n\nResponsibilities and Essential Job Functions\n

  • High School Graduate\n
  • Associate Degree Nursing For ADN prepared nurses hired after February 24, 2017, must complete BSN degree by the fifth anniversary of employment as an RN with UKHA\n
  • 2 or more years experience as a Clinical Nurse\n\nPreferred Education and Experience\n
  • Bachelor Degree Nursing\n\nRequired Licensure and Certification\n
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing (Kansas) or compact license\n
