Construction Superintendent – Commercial Projects (Columbus, OH)

Location : Columbus, OH

Employment Type : Full-Time

Salary : Competitive (based on experience)

My client, a well-established Commercial General Contractor in Columbus, Ohio , is actively seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join their growing team. This company is known for delivering high-quality ground-up and renovation projects across the commercial, retail, and mixed-use sectors — with a strong pipeline of work for 2025 and beyond.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects from start to finish.
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to maintain clear communication and resolve site issues quickly.
  • Oversee site logistics, quality control, and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Deliver successful projects that meet both budget and quality goals.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor .
  • Proven success managing ground-up or large-scale renovation projects .
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Must be local to Columbus, OH (or open to local travel).
