WHAT IS THE JOB?
As a Contract Assistant Designer, you will support the Women's Design Team in all aspects of Design & Product development. This position has an expected start date of November 1, 2025 and an expected end date of Mid-March 2026.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Assists the team to prep fit samples (measure, reviewing construction, identify discrepancies in specs, steam / press samples to be ready for fittings)
- Assists the team on tracking samples and following up on sample status, including development / wholesale / catalos samples (maintains tracking charts up to date)
- Assists on organizing and maintaining sample library organized and up to date
- Assists the team to prep for meetings (pull samples, steam garments, create boards, etc.)
- Assists in finding images for design meetings
- Assists in maintaining fabric boards up to date and clean at all times
- Assists team on creating diagrams for TPs
- Assists in setting up for Store Set Presentations
- Must adhere to Product development calendar
