The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business unit is seeking an Electronic War Engineer (Level 4) to support our capabilities in St. Louis. The role involves engineering oversight of complex hardware redesigns, developing and executing design and threat trade studies, and collaborating closely with suppliers, program offices, and aircraft modification partners to meet program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with suppliers to develop and enhance advanced electronic warfare systems, ensuring designs meet specifications and operational requirements.
• Oversee the integration of electronic warfare systems into aircraft platforms, ensuring functionality and interoperability.
• Conduct technical assessments of electronic warfare technologies, analyzing performance metrics, reliability, and compliance with standards.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including simulations, laboratory tests, and flight testing, to validate system performance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues during development and integration, providing guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with military and regulatory standards, including safety, operation, and cybersecurity.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration among software, hardware, and systems engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning and best practices in electronic warfare systems development.
