Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with an active MA license, BLS, ACLS, and pediatric certification for night shifts in a hospital emergency department.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes a broad spectrum of emergency and trauma cases
  • Shifts are 12 hours, with evening or night schedules (11 : 00a–11 : 30p and 7p–7a)
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Uses Meditech EMR; experience with Meditech is required
  • No local travelers accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Responsibilities include providing advanced emergency care for a wide range of acute and trauma cases
  • Team-based environment with rapid response expectations
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
  • All requested time off must be presented at the time of application
  • Holiday coverage may be required according to unit needs

  • Active MA RN license in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS or ENPC certifications required
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • MAB certification preferred
  • Must complete Tele / ECG and Medication testing
  • Required vaccinations : COVID vaccine including booster and seasonal flu (medical exemptions allowed)
  • Not eligible if worked as a traveler, perm, or per diem within any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the past 12 months
