What your day will look like :
Perform comprehensive evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and functional assessmentsDesign individualized treatment plans aligned with patients’ orthopedic needs and goalsProvide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, joint mobilizations, and other evidence-based interventionsApply modalities such as shockwave, laser, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat / cold therapy as appropriateEducate patients and families on rehabilitation, injury prevention, posture, and safe movement techniquesTrack patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in compliance with regulationsCollaborate with surgeons, physicians, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated careMaintain accurate records while following HIPAA guidelines and clinical best practicesStay up to date with developments in orthopedic rehabilitation through continuing education and trainingWhat we are looking for :
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited programCurrent state licensure as a Physical TherapistStrong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation methodsComfortable in working with a variety of patient population including post-surgical individuals, athletes, accident recovery patients, and those with chronic orthopedic conditionsAt Apex, we actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
