Summary :
The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.
Requirements :
A. Education / Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
B. Experience
1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.Required 3 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical.C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
BLS requiredRN License in state of employment or compactCurrent PALS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNsCurrent ACLS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNsCurrent TNCC and ENPC certification within 12 months of hire for experienced RNsModerate Sedation within 3 months of hire for experienced RNsCurrent de-escalation training or completion within 90 days of employment with annual recertificationArrhythmia recognition within 8 weeks of hireCurrent NIHSS certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire for experienced RNsWork Schedule :TBD
