Key Responsibilities
Confirm relevant patient information prior to service and discuss patient liabilities
Ensure accurate registration data, demographic information, and insurance coverage is secured
Communicate patient liability estimates and attempt collections to meet productivity and quality standards
Required Qualifications
One year of post high school business or college coursework preferred
National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
Minimum one year experience in a customer service role preferred
Proficiency in Medical Terminology by exam and one year of admitting, billing, or registration experience in a healthcare setting, or relevant vocational program, or AA Degree with six months healthcare experience
