Overview

Our financial services client in Midtown is seeking a Visual UI Designer to craft clean, modern and user-friendly websites. This is a hybrid role (3x per week) in Midtown Manhattan. You will work closely with developers, project managers and content teams to bring digital experiences to lifefrom wireframes to high-fidelity design.

Responsibilities

  • Design responsive, high-fidelity web pages that align with approved content structures and brand guidelines
  • Create wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes that reflect intuitive user flows and functional design
  • Produce UI components, page layouts and visual assets for use across the site
  • Maintain visual consistency through the development of design systems and reusable components
  • Apply best practices in accessibility, responsive design and usability
  • Stay current with tools, trends and techniques in modern web design

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in web design, UI / UX or digital product design
  • Strong command of Figma
  • A portfolio showcasing responsive design work, wireframes and finished websites
  • Solid understanding of layout, typography and interaction design
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver polished work on time
