Position : Regional Director of Therapy

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Therapy to oversee and lead therapy services across our Minnesota facilities. This role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services, fostering team development, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a passionate leader with a proven track record in therapy management and a commitment to enhancing the lives of residents through exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Oversight : Provide leadership, guidance, and support to therapy departments across all facilities in the Minnesota region.

Clinical Excellence : Ensure therapy services meet or exceed clinical standards and regulatory requirements while optimizing resident outcomes.

Staff Development : Recruit, train, mentor, and retain talented therapy professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

Operational Management : Develop and manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Collaboration : Work closely with facility administrators, directors of nursing, and other regional leaders to align therapy services with organizational goals.

Program Development : Drive innovation by developing and implementing therapy programs and initiatives tailored to meet the needs of residents.

Performance Improvement : Conduct regular audits, analyze outcomes data, and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance therapy services.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with an active license in Minnesota.

Experience : At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in therapy services within skilled nursing or post-acute care settings.

Skills :

Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Expertise in therapy program management and operations.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Familiarity with reimbursement systems, including PDPM and Medicare guidelines.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to therapy services.
