Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) and Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Registered Nurse

Definitions :
An RCAC has at least 5 apartments and may provide UP TO 28 hours per week of supportive care services such as housekeeping, personal assistance, dining, nutrition and minimal nursing assistance and medication management. They also provide 24-hour emergency services and each apartment has a lockable entrance, kitchen and bathroom. A CBRF houses atleast 5 adults who require some nursing services and is a part of the assisted living umbrella.

Requirements :
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Degree from accredited school of nursing; valid and current nursing license in the state of Wisconsin in good standing
- Possess sufficient organizational and interpersonal skills to assign tasks, encourage staff, produce positive outcomes, and improve quality
- Assess residents and complete appropriate and required documentation
- Provide med pass and wound care as needed
- Provide oversight to qualified staff
- Perform staff competencies and education as needed
- Must have CBRF certfications for the State of Wisconsin including Standard Precautions and Fire Safety
- Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines

Assume responsibility for all direct patient care activities within the scope of federal, state and company regulations, policies and proceduresCreate and maintain effective care plansMonitor and communicate residents’ needs and changes in behavior with staffMaintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residentsDevelop working knowledge of all federal, state and company regulations, policies and procedures; ensure complianceProvide tours to interested tenants and familiesAssist as needed in moving in tenantsPass medications as neededComplete assessments as neededProvide all necessary paperwork to tenants and effectively communicate service agreements and changes as neededAll other duties as assigned by campus Administrator and / or Director of Nursing
