Overview
We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. This role involves managing, designing, and supporting network, server, and storage infrastructure while ensuring compliance with corporate security standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in network security, infrastructure maintenance, and disaster recovery planning.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network, server, and storage infrastructure to support organizational needs.
- Configure and manage firewalls, proxies, VPNs, and other network security controls to align with corporate information security standards.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with telecommunication vendors to upgrade and maintain communication links.
- Develop and manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for VoIP systems, routing protocols, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot network issues using packet analysis and implement solutions to prevent service disruptions.
- Maintain secure configurations for enterprise assets and enforce compliance with regulations and standards.
- Automate network processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Manage cloud environments, including Azure, ensuring seamless integration with on-premise systems.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure implementation and maintenance.Proficiency in firewall technologies, Cisco routers, and Cisco networking.Working knowledge of VoIP systems, load balancers, and DDoS protection.Familiarity with routing protocols, wireless access points, and network segmentation.Experience with Windows Active Directory, VMware, and cellular modems.Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as CCNA, CEH, CISSP, Network+, or Security+ are highly desirable.Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and packet analysis.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues effectively.Background / Drug testing required prior to employment.All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
