Must-Have :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in general OR, bariatrics, ENT, neurology, orthopedic, and urology lines.
• Willingness to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
• Must have the flu vaccine.

Description :

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in the surgical environment.

The nurse will assist with various surgical procedures including total joints, spine, craniotomy, free flaps, cytoreduction, bariatric, and ENT procedures.

The nurse will maintain a safe and sterile environment while monitoring patient vitals and ensuring proper documentation.

The role includes responsibility for equipment setup and patient positioning prior to surgery.

The nurse will collaborate with the surgical team to promote effective communication and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Weekend shifts are required once every six weeks.

No call requirements.

Daily patient ratios may vary with an average census of 60 cases.

The candidate must provide two professional references.

Candidates should expect to float to other units as required.

All employees must comply with health safety regulations, including vaccination requirements.

The position requires effective teamwork and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
