About The Position

Pediatric Neurology Opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA

Join a growing pediatric subspecialty team in Louisiana's capital, where patient-centered care and lifestyle alignment come together. This full-time Pediatric Neurology opportunity offers excellent support, access to subspecialty programs, and a flexible schedule. Step into a well-resourced role with opportunities to teach and help shape the next generation of pediatric specialists.

Practice Overview

  • You'll join a team of 3 full-time and 1 part-time pediatric neurologists, supported by APPs, RNs, MAs, and nurse navigators
  • Bread-and-butter neurology cases with subspecialty clinics (EMU, Botox, seizure, neurodevelopmental) and EEG / EMG reading opportunity
  • Light 1 : 4 call with clinic volume adjusted on call days (4-5 patients max)
  • No procedural requirements and 100% pediatric patient mix

Schedule

  • Clinic hours : Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm; Friday, 8am-3pm
  • One full administrative day per week (or two half days)
  • Call involves rounding and office-based coverage; no hospital overnights
  • Balanced inpatient duties with AM and PM rounding on 5-6 patients / day
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed base salary between $262,000-$280,000, plus quality bonuses
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation support negotiable
  • Paid CME time and allowance, malpractice coverage included
  • Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF); full suite of health benefits
  • Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
  • Open to 2025 grads and experienced physicians
  • EEG / EMG reading skills welcome but not required
  • Must be team-oriented with interest in teaching and resident supervision
