Maintenance Technician (Monaca)

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day maintenance and repair of Pocket Nurse and affiliated buildings, grounds, and equipment.

This position requires a valued technical expert who can deliver quality work on a consistent basis. The focus of this job is on producing high quality, error-free and detailed work based on defined regulations and standards. The job involves steady, consistent work so tasks can be completed on time and accurately.

Key Responsibilities and other duties / projects as assigned :

• Conveyor Maintenance and Repairs - performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs associated with the conveyor system and other warehouse systems and equipment.
• Building, Equipment and Systems Inspection performs a daily walkthrough inspection and records repair tickets.
• Maintenance and Repair Tickets timely completion of assigned tickets and adherence to preventative maintenance plans.
• Electrical performs electrical inspections and repairs including changing lighting ballasts, troubleshooting controls and sensors, and replacing motors and drives on the conveyor system.
• Plumbing / Sewage repairs or replaces basic plumbing and monitors sewage system and treatments.
• HVAC assists with inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance including filter changes.
• Groundskeeping maintains grounds including debris removal and provides snow and ice removal from the parking lots and sidewalks.
• Office and Events builds and moves furniture, cubicle walls and office equipment as needed. Helps set up, clean up, and tear down for corporate functions and events.
• Housekeeping Assistance - provides back up to housekeeping when staffing is low.
• Safety abides by OSHA rules and regulations by following all appropriate safety and security measures including lockout / tagout. Maintains required testing and inspection recordkeeping data. Serves as a member of the Safety Committee and provides feedback for changes based on inspection results.
• Vehicle Maintenance assists in changing oil, brakes, and rotors for company vehicles.
• General painting and minor dry wall repairs.
