JCMTD is committed to helping eliminate transportation barriers within the city and rural areas, by offering transportation to employment, Dr. appointments, school, shopping, and more.

Exemplary Duties / Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager; performs a variety of semi-skilled work in safely transporting clients and performs related work as required.

• All applicants that are chosen for employment must obtain a CDL Class B license with passenger endorsement and air brakes within 1 month of employment.
• Must pass background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
• JCMTD offers paid training.
• $1,000 bonus once CDL are obtained.
• Completes daily vehicle inspections.
• All applicants must submit a written employment application that can be picked up from the JCMTD office or printed from the website (jcmtd.com).
• Keeps accurate trip records.
• Operate assigned routes.
• Collect fares.
• Cleaning, fueling, and report maintenance repairs needed.
• Maneuver and secure special equipment and wheelchairs.
• Use correct two-way radio procedures.
• Great customer service.
• Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and some holidays.
