A Gastroenterology Physician specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system. They manage a clinic with support staff, see 10-15 patients a day, and perform 10-12 procedures in an Endoscopy Suite or Ambulatory center, with on-call responsibilities for inpatient consultations. This role requires expertise in gastroenterology and the ability to handle urgent cases such as food impactions and gastrointestinal bleeds.

Support staff : 2 AP and seasoned clinic staff.

• # of patients per day : 10-15 patients a day if working full days. Procedures range between 10-12 procedures, full days in the Endo Suite or Ambulatory center.
• Call coverage inpatient can range from 2-7 consults a day, night call you will get called for food impactions, possible GI bleeds.
