Overview
RCMI Senior Solution Technical Expert – Training role at Guidehouse. The team supports the Military Health System (MHS) client with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expertise within an electronic health record (EHR). The candidate will lead the development of work products and deliverables, establish relationships with primary clients and stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve processes, and support business development across the MHS.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement training curriculum and materials for new workflows.
- Develop a continual improvement process model to establish / improve products, services, and processes related to the sustainment of the MHS GENESIS.
- Review and make recommendations to improve end-to-end workflows that meet expected outcomes (clinical needs, data quality) and patient / provider experience.
- Support data governance, data management, automation / RPA activities, security, metadata and user communities.
- Perform Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR configuration support tasks and review / update builds.
- Provide health informatics subject matter expertise in support of working groups and respond to requests from designated care areas.
- Support solutions including Dentrix, FirstNet, PathNet, RadNet, PharmNet, Patient Portal, PowerChart Ambulatory, PowerChart Inpatient, and SurgiNet.
- Assist with the design of clinical workflows that incorporate business functions and establish ongoing feedback mechanisms to collect user input for continuous improvement; leverage LightsOn for process improvement recommendations.
- Support Revenue Cycle activities, such as charge capture, patient access, medical coding, and revenue cycle optimization.
- Create visual dashboards and presentations using MHS data; develop slides / analysis using dashboards.
- Develop and maintain working groups / project teams, including charter development, scheduling, tracking tasks, and planning workshops / summits.
- Collaborate with VA counterparts and contribute to Innovation / Academics / Interoperability pilots and use-cases to leverage MHS GENESIS.
- Develop dashboards and reports based on government lead priorities; lead development of work products and deliverables; manage recurring tasks and deliverables.
- Work with executives and business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement; prepare slide decks, presentations, and memorandums to / from DoD senior leaders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to track progress on MHS initiatives to meet legislative and departmental requirements.
What You Will Need
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; active Public Trust or suitability is preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Analysis, Statistics, or related field.Four (4) or more years' experience with direct Oracle / Cerner EHR RCM solution initial builds, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system reconfigurations.Four (4) or more years of experience in project management.What Would Be Nice To Have
Technical build and system configuration expertise for MHS GENESIS RCM optimization and enhancements.Experience with end-to-end development, implementation, and validation testing of MHS GENESIS builds within RCM.Experience with ticket queuing system issue resolution processes.Ability to interact with RCM stakeholders to implement resolutions for issues or enhancements; experience with developing / optimization of RCM workflows within clinical workflows.Knowledge of DHA / DoD / MHS communications, education, and training for end-user learning.Experience with educational course material design for DHA MHS GENESIS RCM Solution Owner Teams and end-user training, including training content related to scrubbing and encounter completion.Understanding of clinical / business workflows and usability standards.Ability to develop dashboards using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI; proficient with Microsoft Office.Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical and technical documents; strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Previous DoD / MHS experience is a plus; experience leading small teams and coaching colleagues.PMP or CAPM Certification; Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR).Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$133,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
