Join Our Team and Support Animals in Need

Since 1870, the Humane Society of Missouri (HSMO) has been giving animals the second chance they deserve. Every gift we receive helps fuel our rescue, adoption, and veterinary efforts-and we need someone who can make sure that data is handled with accuracy and care.

We're seeking a Data Services Coordinator who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to support the heart of our fundraising efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately enter donor gifts into our fundraising database (Raiser's Edge) for HSMO and Longmeadow Rescue Ranch
  • Create and update donor records, including addresses, coding, and constituent notes
  • Generate and manage donor acknowledgment letters each week
  • Support registrations and data entry for special events like Bark in the Park, Glow in the Park, and more
  • Assist with online gifts, changes, and refunds
  • Pitch in on development projects and cross-team initiatives
  • Attend and support fundraising events (some evenings and weekends required)
  • Works alongside the Office Coordinator to generate, edit, and complete donor acknowledgement letters for HSMO President
  • Represent HSMO's mission by treating animals and people with compassion and respect

What We're Looking For

  • Data entry experience with strong accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Experience with databases; Raiser's Edge preferred
  • Some College required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor information
  • Non-profit / Fundraising experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel required
  • Clear communication skills and collaborative team spirit
  • Passion for animal welfare and commitment to HSMO's mission
