Job Summary
The Library Operations department is seeking a student to join their team of professionals in The Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The position requires a student who is skilled in cartography concepts, for example, coordinate systems, data types and some data analysis. The student may have experience using ArcGIS desktop and Online. Under the supervision of the Maps and Imagery Services Research Associate, the student will scan, georeference and process aerial photography, or process satellite data, update GIS files and geo-databases, and create metadata. The candidate will also be performing technical GIS work.
