At Atlas Copco Vacuum North America, we are seeking a Service Sales Engineer to play a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will engage with innovative technologies and sustainable practices, contributing significantly to the growth of our Vacuum Technique Service business across the territory.
As a Service Sales Engineer , your key responsibilities will include :
- Strategically planning and prioritizing personal sales activities to achieve business targets.
- Collaborating closely with the service aftermarket team to deliver top-notch after-sales service.
- Providing valuable market insights and competitive analysis to management.
- Creating and presenting proposals for assigned service products, including accurate pricing calculations.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers and ensuring exceptional service quality.
- Documenting customer interactions and sales activities within CRM systems for seamless reporting.
- Partnering with the Finance department to optimize receivables.
- Working cross-functionally with colleagues to enhance overall customer relations and business outcomes.
- Attending and actively participating in sales meetings to ensure follow-up and implementation of discussed strategies.
- Contributing to business growth through the development of existing customer relationships and expanding the installed base.
- Engaging in ad-hoc projects related to new products and marketing initiatives.
- Gathering and providing customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.
- Scope of Job : Product Sales 80%, Personal Development 10%, Reporting 10%.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience in industrial service sales, preferably in the vacuum industry.Understanding of value-based selling for service business.Technical understanding with the ability to quickly adopt new products / technologies.Knowledge of optimized territory management.Effective sales techniques and skills.Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% of the time within the US for client meetings, project oversight, and industry events.Fluency in English.What we offer :
