Informix Database Administrator

A company is looking for an Informix Database Administrator.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the primary DBA with user management, performance monitoring, and routine maintenance

Manage IBM Informix instances and support migration of legacy applications from HPUX to RHEL

Monitor SQL performance, design backup procedures, and define database schemas

Required Qualifications / Experience :

4+ years of hands-on Informix DBA experience with DR and backups

Proven ability to define database schemas and develop Informix stored procedures

Proficiency in ESQL-C, C, and Unix / Linux shell scripting

Strong SQL tuning skills and experience with source management systems

Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related is a plus but not required
