Manage, maintain, and operate Mobile Broadcast Production Trucks for LTN Global Productions which specializes in broadcasting live sports (professional and collegiate). Responsible for all engineering operations of a Mobile Broadcast Production Truck from set-up to execution during live broadcasts. Implement all systems involved in a mobile sports / entertainment environment. Work closely with entire engineering staff for all mobile productions.

Responsibilities :

  • Set up the mobile production truck and its equipment for each live video production.
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot all engineering operations for LTN's mobile production truck(s).
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting while executing changes and engineering updates on a mobile production truck.
  • Perform regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile production truck.
  • Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
  • Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile production truck.
  • Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates.
  • Provide on-site client service and technical support.
  • Maintain and file technical reports on a per show basis.
  • Communicate effectively with production staff and production employees in a professional manner.

Requirements :

  • 1+ years experience in broadcast video engineering, IP networking, or similar.
  • Must be available for nationwide travel for up to 1-2 weeks at a time.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment, and production.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TCP / IP network protocols and fundamentals.
  • Ability to interface with clients and other LTN engineering and production staff to provide a high level of service and support.
  • Must be willing and able to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Familiarity with audio, AoIP, production switcher, graphics, scoring data, intercom and other systems used in mobile television facilities is desirable.
  • Audinate Dante Level 3 certification is desirable.
