Med / Surg RN Job Details Assignment Length : 13 weeks Location : Cincinnati, OH 45219 (Ohio nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Med / Surg Unit Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts / week) Weekly Hours : 36 hours Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : October 20, 2025 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1550 - $1660 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio or compact state) BLS certification required prior to first shift ACLS certification required prior to first shift Minimum 1 year of recent bedside clinical experience (2 years preferred) Experience in Med / Surg, medical-surgical nursing, or related specialties preferred Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for Med / Surg patients Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Provide patient and family education, including discharge planning from admission Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital policies and safety protocols Participate in team-building activities and foster a positive work environment Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing jobs Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Cincinnati, Ohio!
