Inpatient Setting | 7 On / 7 Off Schedule | IMLC Welcome

Opportunity Snapshot : A leading hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin, is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for inpatient locum coverage. This position features a 7-on / 7-off schedule, with manageable call responsibilities, and is open to candidates holding or eligible through the IMLC.

Key Details :

Coverage Dates : ASAP June 30, 2026

Schedule : 7 on / 7 off | 11-hour days with 2 nights of call per week

Setting : Inpatient Hospital-based

Call : STEMI and emergent TVP coverage only

Call Ratio : 2 of 7 nights

Call Response Time : Immediate or within 10 minutes

Patient Volume : 2530 patients per shift

Admissions : 2 per day

Call Back Percentage : 510%

Hospital Size : 220 beds

Trauma Level : II

EMR : Epic

Requirements :

Board Certified in Cardiology Required

Active Wisconsin Medical License or IMLC Accepted

ACLS Certification Required
