Surgical Nursing / Orthopedic Staff RN

Education + Licensure :

Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

RN license required. CPR required

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required.

2 years‘ experience required, 5 years preferred.

Travel Experience Required.

Responsibilities :

Pre and Post-Operative Care, i.e., general, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgical, genitourinary, etc.

Pain Management

Chest Tube Care / Insertion

PEG, G-tube, J-tube care

Traction

Percutaneous, Sump, Jackson Pratt, or Hemovac drainage care

Medication Administration

NIH Stroke Scale

KODA

Access Central Lines

Specialized IV Drips and Titration

IV Therapy

IVADD

Waive Testing

Transfusion Therapy
