Maintenance Technician – Monticello or Monroe, WI
Schedule :
- 1st Shift Option 1 : 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
- 1st Shift Option 2 : 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
- 2nd Shift : 6 : 00 PM – 3 : 00 AM (Rotating Weekends)
- 3rd Shift : 9 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation : $25–$40 per hour, based on experience
Sign-On Bonus : $6,000 total (paid in 3 installments)
Shift Differentials :
10% for hours worked between 1 : 00 PM – 9 : 00 PM15% for hours worked between 9 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AMOverview
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Monticello or Monroe, WI. This role is crucial in ensuring equipment and plant facilities are safe, functional, and operating efficiently. You'll be responsible for preventive maintenance (PM), emergency repairs, and routine equipment servicing. Candidates must be available for rotating weekend shifts and occasional holidays.

Key Responsibilities
Complete all assigned preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, including those under the Master Sanitation Program.Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on production and facility equipment.Maintain accurate maintenance and sanitation records .Coordinate with management and team members to schedule repairs and source necessary parts.Participate in continuous improvement efforts and ensure safety and compliance across all operations.Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and listening skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.Ability to troubleshoot systems including HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, general electrical (including VFDs) .Basic knowledge of plumbing and carpentry .Understanding of PLCs and general process engineering principles.Commitment to safety, integrity , and continuous learning.Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing, and lifting up to 50 lbs in a cool, wet environment.Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not required.Benefits
