Appointment Clerk
This position provides high level member assistance by scheduling various appointments requested, transferring calls appropriately, composing messages, and providing general information.
Essential responsibilities include upholding Kaiser Permanentes policies and procedures, operating in a high volume, highly structured call center environment, determining the type of appointment requested or needed, prioritizing member needs, utilizing superior customer service skills, and performing clerical duties.
Basic qualifications require one year of customer service experience in a service related industry, preferably healthcare, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include effective telephone communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to obtain a passing score on the Customer Care Simulation assessment.
