Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nursing

Location : Sanford, NC 27330 (Central North Carolina, near Raleigh & Durham)

Healthcare Setting : Surgery / Operating Room (OR) – Acute Care Hospital

Contract Type : 13-week Travel Nursing Assignment

Start Date : October 20, 2025

End Date : January 19, 2026

Shift : 8 Hour Days (6 : 45 AM – 3 : 15 PM)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Weekend / Call : Every other weekend; up to 15 call shifts / month

Scrubs : Provided

Weekly Estimated Pay : $1930–$2070 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Previous travel nursing experience in the Main OR preferred

Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, CPI / HWC / MAB (must be obtained prior to start)

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Strong adaptability, teamwork, and clinical skills

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients of all ages

Assist surgeons and surgical teams in a sterile environment

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals

Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and ensure patient safety

Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

Accurately document patient care using Cerner EHR

Float to other units to support overall patient care as needed
