Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage all underwriting aspects of formal life insurance applications
  • Assess eligibility for accelerated outcomes and determine the acceptance or modification of risks
  • Communicate underwriting decisions effectively to customers and facilitate business placements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for decision-making
  • Maintain a customer-focused mindset while delivering optimal offers to drive sales

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior life insurance underwriting experience
  • Approved authority of at least $1 million
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree
  • Existing approval authority greater than $1 million
  • Knowledge of accelerated and non-accelerated underwriting processes
  • Familiarity with technology tools and a demonstrated customer service mindset
  • Ability to think critically and work effectively in a team environment
