Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced X-Ray Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification, Wisconsin license, and trauma Level II experience for a 7 on / 7 off night shift role.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a hospital setting with a 7 on / 7 off night shift schedule
  • May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed
  • Primary duties include routine X-Ray and portable imaging in high acuity areas such as med-surg, ICU, cardiac care, and emergency care units
  • Requires skill in positioning adult and geriatric high acuity patients, with frequent work in the OR
  • Trauma Level II environment with a patient population primarily in their 30's to geriatric
  • EPIC Radiant charting experience preferred but not required
  • No mandatory on call, call back, or regular weekend / holiday rotations, but may be asked to assist during staffing needs
  • Candidates are expected to be skilled in managing high acuity adult patients across multiple units
  • Scrub color is any color
  • Eligible for 36 hours low census unbillable with potential for call back pay if called in during those hours
  • Travelers may be put on call during 36 unbillable low census hours
  • Orientation week hours may vary and are not GSA guaranteed
  • First-time travelers are not considered for this position
  • No radius rule applies to this position

  • Current ARRT certification and valid Wisconsin Radiology license required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent specialty experience, including work in an OR setting
  • Must have prior travel experience
  • Experience required in a 300+ bed facility and trauma Level II setting within the last 2 years
  • Comfortable performing portable X-Rays in various hospital units
  • License required if applicable
