Position Overview

The Lift Spotter will play a critical role in ensuring safe scissor lift operations across active construction sites. This position acts as the primary visual guide for lift operators in tight or high-traffic areas and helps maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated spotter for scissor lift operations in congested or high-risk areas
• Maintain constant visual contact with the lift operator and surrounding work zones
• Communicate clearly using hand signals and / or radios to ensure safe lift movement
• Identify hazards, obstacles, or personnel in the lift path and immediately alert the operator
• Ensure work zones are properly secured and marked to protect other workers and equipment
• Monitor jobsite activities to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures

Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the site supervisor or safety personnel
