Purpose of the Position :

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring high standards are met throughout the department. This role oversees the performance of housekeeping staff, with a focus on training, quality control, and the inspection of guest rooms, equipment, and fixtures. The Supervisor works closely with the Housekeeping Manager to implement procedures, support staff, and uphold luxury service standards. This position directly supervises guest floor staff including room attendants and housemen.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE :

• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a luxury or 5-star hotel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in the use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and fixtures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of relevant hotel and hospitality regulations
• A gracious, friendly, and approachable demeanor
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, AM / PM / overnight shifts, and overtime as needed
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
