The Role

Under close supervision, provides general labor duties to maintain cleanliness of facility and assists Maintenance Department with toter cleaning and repairs.

Essential Responsibilities Include, And Are Not Limited To :

  • Cleans facility and makes certain yard is free of debris.
  • Operates equipment, such as a loader, forklift or similar equipment, as applicable to location.
  • Sweeps parking area.
  • Washes, repairs, and stores containers and carts in an orderly fashion; ensures containers and carts are available when needed.
  • Washes vehicles, cleans oil waste filters, and assists in delivering carts to customers and special pickups as requested.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of inventory levels when running low on crates and containers.
  • Assists in cleanup of off-site hydraulic spills.
  • Other maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is :
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local job site health and safety rules, regulations and best practices; understanding of potential job hazards.
  • Basic computer programs.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver license required.
