About The Position

Must-Have :

LDRP or NICU training preferred

Charge experience is a plus

Previous patient ratio experience of 1 : 4

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.

The position requires the nurse to float between units.

On-call duties will be required.

Weekends will be required every other week.

Block scheduling is necessary.

Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are either 1 : 1 or 1 : 3.

The ideal candidate must have experience in LDRP or NICU.

Previous experience in a short-term acute care facility is preferred.

The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and managing IVs.

They must be familiar with charting systems, specifically Epic.

The role includes assisting with both labor and postpartum care.

Knowledge in the treatment of various medical conditions related to maternity care is essential.

Candidates must be capable of performing necessary interventions during labor and delivery.

Interdisciplinary support is available within the facility.

This position will involve caring for various patient age groups, including neonates and adults.

The candidate should have strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively within a team.
