JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The responsibilities of the Architectural Project Manager will be involved in all phases of design, from early concepts through construction. They will also be required to manage multiple small / medium projects, including schedule creation and staffing plans. They will need to work under minimal supervision to carry out the necessary design, documentation, and staffing of various product lines, such as : Single-Family homes, duplexes, townhomes, multi-family condominiums, stacked flats, dense townhomes, and residential clubhouses / amenities. Applicants must have Site Planning experience with the above typologies and be able to work closely with the Project Team, Engineers, and Consultants on potential projects. Applicants must be passionate about residential design, up to date with current trends, and be able to adapt to new building styles and types.
DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to) :
- Conduct design / drafting assignments of a moderately complex nature with latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgement
- Prepare layouts, drawings, and details according to direction provided by other members of the team
- Prepare conceptual layouts of homes, townhomes, condominiums, and living units
- Prepare Construction Documents, and city submittals
- Conducts site visits as needed for Construction Administration / Coordination
- Coordinate bidding and construction documents with Purchasing and Construction Team.
- Coordinate with the internal project team
- Explore / Research current trends in residential, multi-family, and amenities for residential communities.
EXPERIENCE
Highly Proficient in Revit and BluebeamExtensive understanding of the IBC and Residential typologies designed and built under that code. (desired, but not required)Proficient in AutoCAD, Enscape, Microsoft Office, and SketchUpLicensed Architect in Utah (desired, but not required) or equivalent professional experienceMinimum of 5-10 years experienceAbility to read and understand drawings of all disciplinesUnderstanding of Residential construction and detailingKnowledge of latest building codes and regulatory requirementsExcellent communication, team building, resource management, and conflict resolution skills necessary
