Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeler to join a growing Water / Wastewater engineering practice. This mid-senior role focuses on hydraulic modeling projects for water distribution and sewer collection systems in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and calibrate hydraulic models for water / sewer systemsConduct master planning and system performance analysesPrepare technical reports and design recommendationsManage modeling tasks within project budgets and schedulesCoordinate with project teams and clientsMentor junior engineers in modeling techniquesPerform quality control on modeling deliverablesOccasionally conduct field investigationsRequirements
Education : Bachelor's in Civil / Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited)Experience :8-10+ years in water / wastewater hydraulic modelingMust Have :Proficiency with InfoWorks, WaterGEMS, XPSWMM, PCSWMM, or EPA-SWMMExperience with sewer rehabilitation and water system designStrong engineering economics and report writing skillsTechnical Skills :Transient analysis and data managementGIS integration with hydraulic modelsMicrosoft Office proficiencySoft Skills :Excellent technical writing and presentation abilitiesProject coordination and team mentoringBenefits
