Research Associate – University of Glasgow
Overview
We are seeking a qualitative researcher to make a leading contribution to an exciting programme of complex intervention research led by Professor Sharon Simpson. The project you will mainly be working on is the ASSIST Global trial. This trial is testing the feasibility and acceptability of a smoking prevention intervention for young people in two countries – Indonesia and the Philippines.
You will be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications as well as help manage and direct complex projects within the Complexity in Health Improvement Programme of the MRC / CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit (SPHSU).
Candidates should be qualified to normally to Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 (PhD) or alternatively possess the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience, with experience of personal development in a similar or related role(s).
This post is to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns.
