No AI here.\n\nWe have PRN, Part Time and Full Time positions available.\n\nDaytime and Night-time, Registered Nurse positions available at several of our area Hospitals.\n\nOur Part Time positions are typically : Two 12-hour Shifts per week\n\nFull Time positions are typically : Three 12-hour Shifts per week\n\nDaytime hours are typically 7am - 7pm and Night-time 7pm to 7am\n\nMethodist North Address : 3960 New Covington Pike, Memphis, TN\n\nWorking at MLH means carrying the mission forward of caring for our community and impacting the lives of patients in every way through compassion, a deliberate focus on service expectations and a consistent thriving for excellence.\n\nA Brief Overview\nResponsible for the nursing care of patients requiring specialized judgment and skill. This judgment and skill is based on knowledge of the natural, behavioral and nursing sciences and humanities as the basis for application of the nursing process in wellness and illness care. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.\n\nWhat you will do\n

  • Provides Practice Excellence through specialized nursing assessment, care, evaluation and education to patients and families in accordance with established policies and procedures.\n
  • Promotes evidence based practice by using research to develop, implement and evaluate process standards, such as plans of care, protocols and guidelines.\n
  • Provides Leadership Excellence in clinical practice area.\n
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Learning Excellence through professional development and clinical expertise.\n

  • Associate's Degree Nursing- RN\n
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing- RN\n\nAdditional Requirements : \n\nEffective August 1, 2014, new hires (newly hired or rehired at MLH) or current Associates entering this job must also meet one of the following requirements : \n\n1. Have a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited program;\n\n2. Be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program to complete a BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire date (written agreement required); or\n\n3. Sign a written agreement to enroll in an accredited nursing program to complete a BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire date.\n\nExperience Qualifications\n
  • Minimum of one (1) year of acute care / bedside experience.\n\nSkills and Abilities\n
  • Analytical skills necessary to assess complex patient conditions effectively and to develop comprehensive plans of care.\n
  • Synthesizes multiple sources of information to assist in the resolution of human responses to complex problems.\n
  • Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques, which are central to the nursing profession.\n
  • Other certifications may be required depending on assigned nursing unit.\n\nLicenses and Certifications\n
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association\n
  • Registered Nurse Arkansas - Arkansas State Board of Nursing\n
  • Registered Nurse Mississippi - Mississippi Board of Nursing\n
  • Registered Nurse Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing\n\nSupervision Provided by this Position\n
  • The Registered Nurse directs and delegates all patient care activities on nursing units.\n\nPhysical Demands\n
  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.\n
  • Must have good balance and coordination.\n
  • The physical requirements of this position are : medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and / or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.\n
  • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.\n
  • Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.\n
  • Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.\n
