Firestop Installer

Trillium Construction is seeking a Firestop Installer / Technician for a project in Mooresville, NC who installs, inspects, and repairs materials to seal openings in walls, floors, and ceilings, preventing the passage and spread of fire and smoke.

Key Responsibilities :

• Reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Installing firestop sealants and sprays as directed by tested systems and EJ's.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of safety codes, and effective communication.
• Ability to be precise on installations and work independently for large blocks of time.
• Works at heights on ladders and scaffolding.
• Experience operating hand tools like electric drills, powder actuated guns, measuring devices, caulk guns, spatulas, for tooling caulk.
• Transporting buckets of spray by hand, must be able to lift a minimum of 45 pounds.

Pay : Up to $24 Schedule : Mon - Th, 40h / week, 7a to 5 : 30p
