Head Swim Coach
The Town of Concord is seeking a passionate part-time Head Swim Coach to join our Recreation team at the Beede Swim & Fitness Center. The center features a full-service natatorium with four pools and modern fitness amenities. The successful candidate will coach within one of our established swim programs, such as the youth swim team, the Otters, or the adult master's program. Responsibilities include creating practice plans and mentoring assistant coaches. This is an hourly, part-time position.
Typical schedules include youth practices M-F 5 : 00-7 : 30 PM and adult programs MWF 5 : 45-7 : 00 AM or T / Th 12 : 00-1 : 15 PM.
Candidates should be team players, flexible, dependable, and motivated. Required certifications include CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Water Safety Instructor, and ASCA certification or equivalent. Lifeguard certification is preferred.
Pay range is $20.00 – $31.00 / hour, starting pay based on qualifications.

Under supervision of the Beede Program Manager, performs tasks in instructing and managing Aquatics programs, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for tasks requiring departmental knowledge, judgment, and initiative, especially in undefined situations. Handles varied details with flexibility.
