Job Description :

  • Plan, coordinate, control, and direct activities involving the scheduling and release of production orders, the requisitioning of purchased parts, and maintaining accurate inventory control records and system procedures.
  • Analyze and recommend solutions to improve availability of component parts to ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform supervisory duties on valve and actuator.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Responsible overseeing the release, control, and follow-up of all shop floor work orders from creation to shipment.
  • Coordinate expediting of component parts to prevent production delays.
  • Heavy emphasis on the investigation and resolution of component part availability issues.
  • Recommend disciplined long-term solutions to inventory and delivery problems within a domestic and international supply chain.
  • Analyze capacity, production, and inventory reports to ensure the constant flow of work orders from origination to shipment.
  • Oversee inventory levels of purchased parts and raw materials as needed to meet production needs in conjunction with corporate commodity management and purchasing.
  • Coordinate inter-company component transfers and manufacturing orders.
  • Speak directly to vendors to resolve delivery issues and facilitate the involvement of various departments such as Engineering and Quality as needed.
  • Assist with supply chain management, as directed, in support of assembly and fabrication production goals.
  • Directly supervise Production Inventory Control associates.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining, addressing / resolving complaints and conflict, and training.
  • Manage special projects, as assigned.
